This unit worked great for 10 months, then sound started to crackle and lose volume

I had to really crank up my volume to get it sound ok, but even at loud volume it was noisy.

One thing I like is that the volume is excellent now

if you find yourself having to turn your receiver up beyond the halfway point for volume to even get a decent playback level, that's NOT right, and its because of THIS unit's broken outputs.

When used with our powered outdoor speakers, which are preset at a loud volume level (not easily adjustable), it is extremely annoying

the volume is fine for listening to quiet background music but have to turn volume up past 80% for loud music

Super easy to connect and use, but I was unable to get the volume louder than a whisper

As far as the volume complaint that some folks have mentioned, there's a volume limit on most smart phones that will inherently limit the volume on blue tooth receivers so look to your smart phone not necessarily the blue tooth device.

GREAT Sound and GREAT Volume

I would have to set the volume on the radio to almost as high as it would go to get adequate volume (not wanting to set the phone or ipad to top volume because then I'm always futzing around with the volume on those things)
