It seems to be of good quality, lightweight, classy looking, and easy to clean
The look of the French Press is nice, but the design is terrible.

Works like they all do, and solid Bodum construction, but the notch in the lid for the handle makes it a tad awkward to use...not difficult, just that the lid fits in only one position, rather than any

It makes a great cup of coffee and, once you have the hot water, only four minutes to steep

I do love some bold coffee, and this is supposed to be the way to get some of the best-tasting coffee around
I recommend to anyone who like rich great tasting coffee.
The taste is disgusting even though I use high quality

We owned a smaller Bodum french press for a few years, and we have always loved the quality, but not the design.
All in all, if you are looking for a nice quality french press for a single serve coffee, this is definitely the one for you.
I've never had a problem with a Bodum french press, their quality is good
The quality is pretty poor

I was excited because I love Bodum but this product was not great
I recommend this product to those looking for a good French Press.
UPDATE 09/01/2017:Was literally just cleaning out my French press and the glass beaker part SHATTERED instantly (see photo).This leads me to believe that either: 1) it's a fake product altogether and not actually Bodum, or 2
I kinda regret buying this product, if you look into it you can only make one cup of coffee (around 300ml)
I got this product to avoid the waste of making larger batches in a standard french press, but turns out it's unavoidable

The term "3 cup" is a bit misleading, since it makes only 10 ozs. of coffee
this was nice and easy and it makes a good cup of coffee
If you really like tons of grounds in your coffee, and a really cold second cup of coffee
I shouldn't have to waste a cup of coffee (too many grinds to drink) or risk burning myself when it's too tight and liquid shoots out the sides
I use it every day and it makes the perfect cup of coffee.

The glass carafe is not replaceable, and if it breaks I will just replace the whole thing
the only thing I didn't like is that you cannot wash the glass base separetely.
The only good thing is that it was not full of scalding hot water when it broke.
First strange thing I noticed is that it came without the Bodum box.

Settled on this model after buying several pricier models and repeatedly shattering the expensive to replace glass
The Bodum press is slightly larger, much easier to clean, and produces excellent coffee with less residue than the cheaper model it replaced.
I'd prefer a model now with a metal lid/plunger assembly, as I could see this happening again with anything plastic lid
Absolutely ridiculous and a terrible business model to be feeding blatant lies like this

Cold brew with this tastes great but a disappointing comedown from the original.

so this is that you can even use this to cold brew as well

Removing the beaker for cleaning was a bit tricky, but ok
After a few months of use now, I feel that the handle is a bit loose - it's ruining my confidence in picking up and pouring hot coffee from this thing.
It is a bit awkward to replace the lid/plunger once the water is added,due to a little lip where the handle connects at the top
However, after using it for about a month, it occasionally leaks a bit near the base, only when I am pouring the coffee.
