The colors are great, they look modern, and instead of complicated instructions or techniques, there's just a simple button
Mine is in the black color, but many other colors are available that will match most any decor
Ordered wrong color, tried to exchange, but noticed return / exchange expired in 24 hours after delivery.
The colors are great and it does exactly what I need it to
Additional comments: I was sent this grinder in black, however, it comes in several bright, stylish colors (love the red!), also, it can be used for grinding spices and nuts where previous models could not
The winding area for the plug wire on the underside is a nice feature of this one though, but overall I prefer the Braun (same design as Krups 203-42).
Still, it's a good deal and i like the safety feature where only the button pushes a hidden tiny trigger that cannot be accidentally triggered unless you stick like a paperclip in there.
It also has a great safety feature in that you can't turn it on if the lid isn't closed...if you are a little clumsy like me you'll appreciate that.
It has stopped working and is "burned out" as of yesterday 4/25/18.
Another nice feature is the recess at the bottom of the grinder which allows the cord to be stored and out of the way
The ease of use, attractive design and compact size of this Bodum make it an attractive addition to any kitchen.
Good, even grind and the right size for a french press or electric coffee maker
Chose the Bodum because of the ability to roll up the cord inside the housing and the compact size and color choices
What I like about it is the size, and the nice attractive color.
This is not too cumbersome for your kitchen counter, and I like fewer things on the counter, so this is just the right size, not taking up to much space
Even though this was pretty expensive for something as simple as a coffee grinder, I thought It would be good quality, especially because of the good reviews
It has stopped working and is "burned out" as of yesterday 4/25/18.
but of course there are many other grinders that can give you better quality
All of the Bodum products I have purchased so far are great quality.
Between the horrible item quality (mostly the motor/wiring as other buyers have shared in their reviews) and inconsistent Amazon support, would not purchase this item again.
This was my first electric coffee grinder and I have to say, the beans get ground evenly every time and saves me so much more time than manually grinding.
I loved this product the first 10 times I used it
Worked great the first time.
It went like this the entire time I ground my bean
WITH* to get it to coarsely grind 2 cups of coffee almost every time
I've owned a few coffee grinders over the years, which I also use to grind spices and flax seeds.
I also use it to grind up spices; which it does a great job of
If you're going to also grind spices then consider the Cuisinart.
Above it says "The bistro grinder can also be used to grind spices and what's
The nice thing about this grinder is that it can also be used to grind spices, which, in the past, has not been recomended for coffee grinders in general
The grinds aren't as fine, and it seems the motor is just a bit weaker than the one in my old one
It seemed a bit flimsy compared to the Cuisinart i’d had for 20 years, but it worked ok
Well Done!!The one thing (if the company is reading this) is that the plunger for the switch is just a bit too loose to go right in and start the machine
Like others have said, the grinder can be a bit messy at times and it wasn't the easiest to clean
Because I fill the grinder nearly to the top, I find that the coarseness can be a bit uneven, but this doesn't bother me too much
Contacted customer service and was asked to send proof of purchase and a video of the issue (a very boring video of the grinder not working when the button was pressed)

I am totally changing my original review which said this grinder was excellent other than you need to clear the coffee dust out of the engagement latch from time to time with compressed air.
This is a new machine so no coffee dust should have interference
After grinding the beans, I emptied the ground coffee into the transparent cap where some of the "coffee dust" settled under the push-button control.
Dust built up around the lid and edges that made it less than "easy" to clean the coffee dust
