Bonavita 8-Cup One-Touch Coffee Maker Featuring Hanging Filter Basket and Thermal Carafe, BV1901PS

    • It does make really great coffee - the most consistent of any of the many pots I have owned.
    • However, the comments about the stainless carafe are true, does not keep hot and is a bit messy to use.
    • Disappointed it does not keep coffee warm otherwise it is fine
    • Having to put the lid on it after brewing does not bother me at all
    • The carafe even with spout top also does not keep coffee as hot for as long as other less bulky containers
    • It does brew very well, with my preferred Uber priced blends however so full points.
    • The coffee is easy to make-and it does make delicious coffee because the water is better distributed/showered over the grounds and the water is very hot which contributed to taste
    • This does not work for me.
    • This new one has a thermal carafe which does not keep the coffee warm at all
    • Minor CON's (inconveniences): basket holder sits on the carafe so no pour-through lid (must replace), difficult to fill water tank without water splashing off a cross bar, carafe does not poor well without its lid so difficult to use it for filling the tank
    • The carafe does keep the coffee hot for at least three hours, but a full pot of coffee does not last more then three hours in my house, so I have no idea if it would stay hot longer
    • It does not have a heating element and the carafe does not keep the coffee hot
    • But that is why is does not get bitter or burned.
    • Additionally, the carafe does not keep coffee hot very long
    • On the down side, the carafe does not pour well unless it has the screw on top in place
    • It does brew quickly and does produce good tasting coffee, good as in better than a $14 machine, now on to the negatives
    • While it does look nice, the ergonomics of the pot are at best nonfunctional
    • but I have come to realize that the pot just does not keep the coffee hot which is SO disappointing
    • does NOT attach / hang from the coffee maker part.
    • The thing makes great coffee and does so quickly
    • The carafe leaks, does not keep coffee hot and the entire machine stopped working completely after 9 months.
    • The hot plate does not keep the coffee hot enough
    • Not only does this brewer make excellent coffee, the brilliant thermal carafe keeps it hot without scorching it for a very long time.
    • It does brew quickly at first but the speed does slow down and need constant cleaning
    • Too small, does not get as hot as I would like, makes a good cup of coffee
    • But in both cases, the carafe does not keep the coffee hot.
    • That being said, it does make cleaning it up a
    • The final blow is that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot for more than 30-40 minutes
    • I also am not bothered by the thermos which, as others report, does not empty every last drop
    • The carafe does not keep the coffee warm
    • The carafe leaks, does not keep coffee hot and the entire machine stopped working completely after 9 months.
    • I'll also mention that the carafe does not keep the coffee warm for any longer than 20-30 minutes, not much better than a styrofoam cup with a lid on it.
    • does not keep hot...must serve immediately...does brew fast.
    • Carafe does lose temperature relatively quickly over two hours.
    • This coffee machine does not disappoint
    • Carafe does not keep the coffee warm.
    • As mentioned by others, the carafe does not keep the coffee warm and it's impossible to pour all of the coffee out
    • It makes a very flavorful cup of coffee with proper temperature and does so easily
    • First this does make excellent coffee, the best I have had yet
    • Carafe does not keep coffee hot for longer than 1/2 hr
    • Thermal carafe does not keep the coffee hot for very long.
    • As you all learned in elementary school, heat rises, and if people on here are telling you that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot, the lid would be the reason why it is not keeping your coffee hot
    • The carafe does not keep the coffee hot for long
    • Of course it is past the time to return to product, so I am stuck with a thermal coffee brewer that does not keep the coffee hot!!!!
    • Coffee does not come out hot enough and carafe does not keep it warm for long
    • Minor CON's (inconveniences): basket holder sits on the carafe so no pour-through lid (must replace), difficult to fill water tank without water splashing off a cross bar, carafe does not poor well without its lid so difficult to use it for filling the tank
    • This does not work as well as my Yeti cup that has the same concept except Yeti is vacuum sealed
    • Carafe does though does not keep coffee warm for very long
    • The warmer element does not stay on for 2 hours either.
    • Also, the carafe does not keep the coffee hot all day, the lid you need to put on is a different way to do things that one might be used to, and yes, tragically, there will be a few drops left in the carafe that you can't easily remove
    • Carafe does not keep coffee hot.
    • at first I liked this easy machine but does not keep coffee warm at all
    • Additionally, there is no delayed start, and the carafe does not keep coffee hot for particularly long.
    • like everyone else says it does not keep your coffee hot for very long!
    • They have not responded well and obviously does not do a good job honoring their
    • The reservoir does not leak yet, but for the price, build quality should be better.
    • I just wanted something that makes great coffee that rivals what I get from my local barista, and this does that very well.
    • But even more of a disappointment has been that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot for very long
    • The carafe just does not keep the coffee hot
    • This is super simple to set up and use.- The carafe does keep coffee pretty hot for
    • It does keep the coffee hot as advertised, but what a royal PITA to use
    • I like that it does not sit on a warmer thus making my coffee have a bad after taste.
    • Expensive too, but does keep coffee hot.
    • That said, the carafe does not keep coffee hot very long.
    • This carafe does not pour well at all
    • The machine itself does work just fine
    • The glass carafe does not keep coffee warm quite as long as the steel carafe (maybe: with the steel carafe, you have to pre-heat the interior by running hot water through it just before making coffee; if you fail to do that, then the coffee coming out of the glass carafe is hotter)
    • The carafe does keep the coffee hot for quite a few
    • The problem with this is the warming plate does not keep the coffee warm
    • Slow Pour, does not stay SUPER
    • Either get a Chemex and a thermal carafe and save a big pile of money, or spend $130 on a coffee maker that actually has some features (other than the pre-infusion option which, while nice, does not justify the price that Bonavita charges for
    • makes the best coffee I have ever had but does not keep the coffee hot long enough and is nearly impossible to keep the countertop clean while removing the carafe lid.
    • The carafe does not keep the coffee hot, maybe they should have Yeti make it for them.

    • The plate that the pot sits on is not heated and the carafe does not keep the coffee warm.
    • The carafe is small and does not keep the coffee hot.
    • I like the coffee that this makes, but I won't buy another one now because the carafe simply does not keep the coffee hot for more than 10 minutes.
    • The lip of the carafe does make it hard to clean but that wasn't a deal breaker
    • The thermal carafe does not keep the coffee hot, it degrades in temperature quite quickly.
    • The carafe does not have the dribble issue that the 1800 exhibits but has a wide lip which makes it impossible to get all the coffee out when brewing a pot.
    • The thermal carafe is a little awkward and heavy for me (a lady of some years), but it does keep the coffee hot for hours.
    • The stainless insulated carafe does not keep the coffee hot for as long as our previous Capresso unit, but it is adequate.
    • I'm usually a cheap-o and would never consider spending more than $30-50 on a drip machine
    • This is an upgrade to me; I've always had cheap O Mr. Coffee Pots or Walmart low end, but now that I appreciate exotic coffee from around the world, this pot is ideal for me.
    • Makes an excellent cup o Joe....stainless pot keeps coffee plenty hot for HOURS.....also makes a full pot pretty dang quick
