Bonavita BV382510V 1.0L Digital Variable Temperature Gooseneck Kettle

    • Works pretty well, temperature regulation is great for tea and coffee and the gooseneck makes brewing cooffee much easier
    • The temperature control is precise and the gooseneck spout ideal for pouring water where it needs to go.
    • The gooseneck also makes controlling the pour in my V60 much easier.
    • I love the variable temperature on this kettle as well as the gooseneck
    • It makes making coffee super easy and lets me dial in to just the right temperature I want, and the gooseneck is great for pouring water into an aeropress or right into a coffee mug without spilling
    • Have not used the old stove top gooseneck kettle/thermometer combo since purchasing the kettle.
    • Added bonus, this gooseneck actually pours more accurately than our stovetop Hario gooseneck kettle
    • Love the gooseneck for Aeropress and French press too!
    • Gooseneck is great for pourover coffee preparation.
    • You get a nice gooseneck kettle, precise temperature control (with 5 preset temps), a count-up timer if you choose when you lift off the pot, and it looks good
    • The gooseneck is very nice and provides pretty good flow control.
    • Love the gooseneck, love the temperature control, love the extra cover for the buttons
    • The gooseneck makes it much easier to make pour over coffee in my chemex
    • The gooseneck makes it MUCH easier to precisely do pour-overs and seriously cuts down the time it takes for me to make my coffee.
    • It's a bummer, since I enjoyed this product - that is until I broke the gooseneck and they would not sell me a replacement kettle
    • As a great bonus, the gooseneck is a delight to pour.
    • Temperature control works without much fuss, gooseneck gives great control
    • I already had a Bonavita electric gooseneck kettle, which I highly recommend if you just need boiling water.
    • The gooseneck on this one pours downward a little more due to the tip being slightly different than normal, which can lead to some added control if you get used to it.
    • I love being able to heat up water quickly and easily using this kettle, and the gooseneck makes pouring easy.
    • Additionally, I love the gooseneck spout
    • Pros: accurate temperature control (full manual or by 5 deg increments), can hold a temp for up to an hour with 'hold' function, nice gooseneck for pourovers, good looking design, comes with protective cover for potential splashes (can be removed)
    • I dropped my carafe and where the gooseneck meets the body broke away at the weld
    • It adds a touch of elegance, and the gooseneck allows a steady, easy to control pour.
    • We like the gooseneck for controlled pour and we like the temperature adjustment to tailor the temperature for our tea
    • Prior to this, I was heating an open top gooseneck kettle over stove and temping with candy thermometer
    • I didn't think I would like the gooseneck as much as I
    • One the positive side, the gooseneck is very elegant.
    • Also the unit is designed such that a small amount of water remains in the unit and cannot be poured out gooseneck but must be dumped out top after removing lid.
    • I bought this kettle thinking it had everything I wanted - beautiful gooseneck design, quick electric heat-up, pre-set temperature settings, but alas
    • Gooseneck is perfect for precision - use this for pour over and aeropress coffee brew methods
    • I believe the better recommendation is to consider a stove top Gooseneck kettle since you can't move this one to the stove once it goes bad
    • I was so excited about getting this: features are wonderful (gooseneck spout, any temperature can be selected, great for pour-over coffee).First Kettle: The actual kettle felt quite cheap and lightweight out of the box.
    • Yes, it has a nice gooseneck for pour over, but otherwise...
    • Holds a lot of water, gets hot in a good amount of time, nice temperature readout and the gooseneck makes it incredibly easy to pour
    • Now, one year and eight months later, the gooseneck has detached from the main kettle, leaking hot water all over the place
    • The gooseneck is perfect for making drip coffee or tea, and has an elegant form
    • The temp controls are a bit confusing at first to figure outPros:the gooseneck is perfect for pour overs and controlling the water coming out
    • The gooseneck is perfect for pour-over coffee as it allows for a controlled precision pour
    • If you know of a kettle that fills all my wants (a gooseneck is not important), please let me hear from you!
    • I did love the gooseneck but in the end it just wasn't worth over $70.
    • The gooseneck makes it very easy to control the flow over water over the ground coffee.
    • It has a really nice design too -- way nicer than another awkward gooseneck kettle I tried and returned
    • The gooseneck is perfect for slow, controlled pours
    • Accurate pouring is amazingly easy because of the kettle's excellent balance and the gooseneck.
    • If you're looking for a decent gooseneck kettle, the Bonavita is a great choice
    • This is the better electric kettle on the market because no harmful materials come into contact with your beverage, it has one degree increments for total control over your drink, and features a lovely gooseneck spout for ease of pouring
    • The plastic handle STINKS right after taking the kettle out of the box, which I suppose could be normal, but I would never know since after boiling the water four times, the gooseneck started leaking water at the kettle base
    • The gooseneck was appealing to my husband as he loves his pour over coffee.
    • In addition, it's overpriced for being so thin, has the poorly finished gooseneck, as others have described in their reviews
    • Best one available, holds the temp, so you can set it and take a shower, perfect for the exact temp needed without that annoying boiling water s***.
    • It heats up water so quickly, and I love the ability to choose precise temperatures (in both F and C) which works great for tea lovers who need different temperatures for different types of teas
