Both play beyond 82 dB, but not by much: I've made the Riva crackle and warble at what I found reasonable volumes a couple of times for an instant, unlike the Bose.

Really long battery life, clear sound, strong volume

The phone function works okay, but volume and clarity aren’t great - but that’s not why I bought the speaker, so not a big negative for me

but once you put all volume up the bass sounds like any other speaker, nothing special for, the price i was expecting a little more to be honest but its an ok speaker for ocassional use.
