All in all it does a solid job for a sound bar but don’t be mistaken in thinking this is a 1 for 1 replacement for a proper 5 or 7 speaker surround sound.
It does a solid job at this and setup was as easy as plugging the SoundTouch unit into the base unit and downloading the app.
It will do a great job with sound effects either in your living room being so compact or in a home theater competing with any 5.1 systems out there.
It does a good job of simulating right and left channel speakers that really do at times give you the sense the action is happening just to the left or right of you.

After checking out tons of soundbars at the store i loved the way this one sounded
So far I'm unable to determine whether this multi-system feature has its own annoying quirks in the app, or whether I’ve yet to figure out the right way to toe the line to make it all work properly

To top it off, the sound quality is perfect at all volumes, you dont NEED to blast the sound to hear the bass, the sound is consistantly good throughout the entire volume range

I just purchased this system for my family room after reading the great reviews and hearing the incredible sound quality at the Bose store.
The sound quality is excellent, and I mean excellent; movies, TV, action, horror, music, it all sounds great
Its stupid that you have to cheat the system in order to get a nice deep bass out of it.
Despite what some reviews said about the weak bass response and the smaller size of the subwoofer, the bass is quite strong yet focused (no overblown distortion) and I'm worried about complaints for playing my music too loud.
After setting it up and using the silly headband to calibrate the soundbar to my home, i noticed the bass was severely lacking
The bass is rich and adds enormously to the movie watching experience compared to my TV speakers
