I streamed a variety of music from Amazon Music and Pandora and was increadibly impressed with how rich the SoundTouch's DAC is and how much presence the music has

Thankfully Bose listened to its customers and created this product to add the awesome soundtouch capability to any speakers

You can select the appropriate input remotely using the free SoundTouch app

The integration with the App is great and working within the App to control the Link Adapter as well as a SoundTouch Portable.

But this is only available as another way to feed music data in, not out

At $150, I figured this was the cheapest way to get into the field

But, if you want to connect this to multiple SoundTouch speaker, this becomes a pretty cool way to go

The bad about this item is the price for the added functionality you get, some of which can be replicated for less:--I have TuneIn Pro on my phone that also lets me stream internet radio from anywhere in the world, and it does pretty much the same as this Bose device.--Being able to connect a non-Bluetooth audio system to a Bluetooth transmitting device is great, but an inexpensive Bluetooth receiver like this [...] can add that capability for a lot less.

Much better off to use inexpensive Bluetooth adapter and an Echo Dot to connect via WiFi

Tremendous cost savings possible if you have expensive speakers that don't have a wireless function

There's even a way to advance or delay individual speakers if they're not syncing well in 10ms

IMHO Bose has always made some of the best sounding speakers available

Have the Bose hooked up via the optical input which makes the sound coming from the speakers awesome, clean, and clear

The positives:This device is great for streaming Spotify or Bluetooth audio throughout the entire house

If you just want to have the audio alone this device works great.

I can stream to either Bose SoundTouch device no problem and to both of them at the same time sometimes, then suddenly one drops and nothing short of rebooting every device multiple times can bring it back.

For a comfortable all room different devices and good app i really recommend the soundtouch way, especially now with this fantastic new wireless link adapter.

All this (nothing on toast) after a longish odyssey through unhelpful and dead links

I had intially planned to slap the Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link Adapter on my computer sound system and be done with it

So while the Wireless Link is good for some things, it does not work well with other things

After much (1 hour), pressing the reset buttons, the Bluetooth button on top of the “puck” and back and forth with my android phone’s Bluetooth hookup, I finally got the system to play music from my phone (Pandora) via Bluetooth through my hard-wired home system.

I have a hard-wired home system; I don’t have any of their “speaker choices” they illustrated.
