The packaged fondue (which I must admit tastes nearly as good as my made-from-scratch fondue) fits perfectly and was plenty as a dinner for two people.
This was a great purchase for the price
Very cute, purchased as a gift for a friend.

I have served a dinner for three and the size is perfect, my recipe makes enough for one and a half of these pots, so i just refill halfway through. perfect buy at the right price, especially if you aren't sure how often you will use it
I used a proper fondue cheese recipe and for the chocolate I used a special ordered dark chocolate prepared specifically for fondue and fountains

While the ceramic pot itself is quality, the little tea light is just not at the level of heat to keep either cheese or chocolate melted to the proper dipping consistency
Amazing how hot it keeps dips/etc for a party with only a little tealight!

I loved my experiences with my EU/UK friends at the Melting Pot and other Fondue restaurants as well as Spanish Tapas and wanted to replicate that fun, community experience of sharing food like this at home

I also pre-prepped the recipes in separate pots so they were the right consistency before pouring into this fondue pot

A tea light candle keeps the chese hot, which surprised me
The candle keeps the fondue warm enough, but not quite as hot as I would like it.
Tea light candles are so cheap ( I recommend the primelight ones - made in USA)
The candle keeps the fondue warm enough, but not quite as hot as I would like it.
The tea-light candle is just right for keeping the mixture hot while dining, and the wood platform is attractive - and prevents damage from spilled wax (should any spillage occur)
You will need to stir often and get to the bottom for the hottest cheese.

I would let it sit on the flame for too long, mix it and move it next to the base then put it back when cheese gets harder
My old expensive SS fondue pot was too big for fondue date night, and no matter what I tried, the sterno would burn the cheese and make cleanup a pain!.This little beauty is just the right size for 2-4 people
Even with the traditional Swiss fondue pots, cheese tends to burn/form a ball close to the heat source, so I give the fondue a little swirl with my bread every now and then
Easy cleanup!Just be sure to melt the cheese on the stove, and I even pre-heat the pot by filling it with hot water
Important note: the ceramic pot must be submerged and soaked in cold water for two hours before its first use
Followed instructions and soaked pot in cold water prior to use, but after about 30 minutes over the tea light provided, the bowl cracked!!

Be sure to follow the directions and soak it in cold water before the first use.
