I cannot handle the volume control like this it should be infinitely adjustable

But for some inexplicable reason they made it so that the sound from the speakers gets muted to a softer volume

Does what I expect it to, but touch screen is unresponsive, radio will drop in and out volume wise, and volume 1 is way too loud and it only increases every 2 numbers (1 and 2 same level, 3 and 4 same, etc)

Volume goes from very quiet to insanely loud with one click of the dial3- Back up camera flashes and blinks when you step on the brakes.4-

Can't shut off via power button even allowing the 5 seconds delay after starting the car- Horrible volume button levels

The volume is terrible

Volume on the first level "right when you start to hear sound" is pretty loud so thats kind of annoying

Volume set at 1 is still kind of loud

Volume issues

For example, volumes between the various modes are radical

Saw where a few people said the volume is either loud of off

Caution: hanging up a call that came in during the radio music will not revert the auto volume of where you originally had it but will use whatever level you used during the bluetooth call

We can't find a good volume setting in our car, either either too loud or too quiet

So it is difficult to find the right volume level on the stereo.2

Then Volume 6 is significantly louder

First one I received the bluetooth would connect OK but would cut in and out while playing from my phone, also the volume is way too sensitive at lower volumes

I don't know if it was a faulty volume

Volume 0 is nothing, but volume 1 is kinda loud

Driving down the road and all of a sudden, the stereo freezes, can't control the volume, the station, the mode, nothing.

It's was good the only issue is the volume it gradually gose up till you hit 6

The volume is not consistent (for me, there was a huge jump between volume 7 and 8)

Had to send it back after two days the volume would stop working in radio mode

Now every time I reverse the volume gets extremely loud

These units barely push factory speakers, and start breaking up about 1/3-1/2 volume

Three clicks and you are at a reasonable volume-- four and it is too loud

UPDATE May 13, 2015....be aware that turning volume up all the way may cause distortion in sound, i have yet to mess around with sound settings to figure out where exactly the issue is

But the main issue the volume

because volume 7 is way too loud, they need to make the step increments smaller!-The touch screen started up with only green colors one time (have owned for 6 months now).-SD card shuffle is horrible, it'll repeat songs frequently (even the very same song right after being played), and has trouble reading some songs (all mp3, but I'm thinking if the file name has an "unacceptable character" it won't play it (I'm trying to find the acceptable vs unacceptable from Boss' website).

As others have stated, the volume between 6 and 7 is insane

I am writing this review after seeing a flood of negative reviews on this product claiming all sorts of weird things about the volume control and various other problems

Not sure how to contact seller, bought for wife's birthday installed it in her car with all the adaptors necessary but the volume randomly turns up and down while driving, everything else works

radio could be at 10 for cruising nice volume

Volume is a lil weird going from volume number six to volume number 7 there is a huge jump in sound and the same with 14 and 15
