  • I love this product because it works well and it is easy to use.
  • Starting on the E string, it got that right; moving up to the A string, it was still showing "E" on the display, even though fretting the E a fifth up showed me that my A string was within a halftone of being in tune, for sure, but the Boss kept displaying "E" ... the same happened with the D string as well
  • Thank You BOSS for great price performance we all look for in top line product!!!

Reviews around display (5.00 of 5)

  • This is my favorite because the display is precise and easy to read.
  • The display is much better than the Snark, the meter allows more precise tuning, there are no problems tuning lower strings, it's sturdy as hell, and the display is just as bright as when I bought it, which would indicate that the battery hasn't even started wearing down
  • They have a great display, long battery life, and are really sensitive for a clip on type.

  • Part is not having a clip tuner before, but the display on this one is great.

Reviews around clip (5.00 of 5)

  • This is the clearest and most precise clip-on that I have used, and I have tried quite a few.
  • Overall, for the price, I don't think you'll find a better clip-on tuner.

Reviews around string (5.00 of 5)

  • Works great for guitars, 6 & 12 string; bass.
  • My only guess is that the slight excitation of the fresh, bright, new lower E string was interfering with the unit picking up the string actually being plucked

  • The screen is nice and bright and the tune is perfect EVERY time

  • Liked the idea from using intellitouch, but the Boss tunes so much more accurately

  • My only guess is that the slight excitation of the fresh, bright, new lower E string was interfering with the unit picking up the string actually being plucked
  • Liked the idea from using intellitouch, but the Boss tunes so much more accurately
  • And, as with some other brands, I sometimes had sensitivity problems tuning the low E on basses (and the low B on 5-string basses)
  • Starting on the E string, it got that right; moving up to the A string, it was still showing "E" on the display, even though fretting the E a fifth up showed me that my A string was within a halftone of being in tune, for sure, but the Boss kept displaying "E" ... the same happened with the D string as well
