Bowers & Wilkins PX Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones, Best-in-class Sound, Soft Gold

    • The noise-cancellation is great when in a noisier environment, but I recommended leaving it off when you are in a quiet environment as the sound is degraded some and your battery will discharge at a slightly faster rate with it activated
    • Plane mode offers the maximum amount of isolation and is suitable for when awareness is no longer a necessity and you are stationary in a loud environment
    • As I type this, I'm sitting in a loud environment with TV's, music, lots of people talking but with ANC and my music playing at about 60% volume, I can't hear anything outside my headphones.
    • These have been engineered for on the go listening, so Bowers & Wilkins acknowledges that people will be using these in loud environments hence the addition of ANC
    • I personally use (Office Mode) ANC when in noisy environments because it still blocks out a good amount of low frequency external noise while offering possibly the best sounding audio from a wireless headphone that's easily superior to my
    • The B&O H9 does have noise cancelling, but the volume doesn't get very loud, and the noise cancelling is not very good.... in quiet environments, where you don't need noise cancelling or very loud volumes, its a great pair of headphones... but it stays at home most of the time.
    • The noise-cancellation is great when in a noisier environment, but I recommended leaving it off when you are in a quiet environment as the sound is degraded some and your battery will discharge at a slightly faster rate with it activated
    • These headphones were absolutely able to cancel out the roar of the engines, creating a little private zone of tranquility and high fidelity in an otherwise hostile aural environment
    • If you listen almost exclusively in loud environments or prioritize comfort, then you're better off with the Sony
    • These are made for use in various situations, in noisy environments, offices etc
    • They sound even better in noisy environments probably because of the boosted bass
    • I felt that the high was not as clear as I
    • Heavy headphones and the sound just wasn't what I was looking for--it just wasn't "expansive like the B&O beoplay headphones; although the noise cancelling feature is better than the B&Os, so there's that to consider; however, the sound quality in noise cancelling mode isn't as good as the B&O Beoplays, so that's an issue too.
    • (the B&O are a little too loose
    • I tested them for several weeks with a range of music from contemporary jazz (Gregory Porter, Carmen Lundy), metal (Metallica, Type O Negative), shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine), post-punk (XTC), etc.
    • n’t want to disturb or be disturbed by anyone around you
    • n’t sound that good.
