The Braun KG7070 does a great job at grinding beans from fine to coarse
That grinder is really powerful, does a great job and I have had no problems using the coffee for any method.
Love how easy it is to use and adjust, also does a great job of containing my flour as it is being ground
,I bought it to go with my Braun Multiserve coffee maker, it does a good job, All grinders make a little mess with the static buildup but that was easily fixed with a google search and adding a few drops of water to the beans
It does a fantastic job and I love that it is completely automatic!
I have to keep the cleaning brush handy to clean out the chute, which spills more coffee
If you are so punctilious you may actually enjoy the oft-repeated ritual of taking out the easily accessed top grinder allowing for brushing away the compacted powder and thrusting the excellent and handy brush downward to clear the tiny exit port
If you fill the tank with beans you can only grind about a third of the bean in the holder before you have to stop and use the brush to clean out the passage that the grinds come through.

And I had high hopes given that this is from a reputable German company with fancy German engineering, but there's a couple issues with this coffee grinder
Both those problems, the motor and the hopper, seem like they could have been avoided by a bit of thoughtful engineering, but then I've never really had a trouble-free coffee grinder

I had another similar burr grinder that could grind coffee for up to 18 cups, but I replaced it with this Braun burr grinder that grinds coffee for up to 12 cups
I cleaned it several times to no avail, and I removed and cleaned the burr as well
Overall, an easy to use and very effective burr grinder that's a nice step up from my blade grinder.
So, I have a Braun KG7070 Burr Grinder that doesn’t work, and nowhere to turn for help.
I had read reviews that stated the same thing & thought that was a small price to pay to have a nice burr grinder, but I completely underestimated how messy it gets
So, I have a Braun KG7070 Burr Grinder that doesn’t work, and nowhere to turn for help.
I chose Braun because I have always trusted the company name and like other products of theirs I have.
Product worked fine but braun is useless in providing replacement parts.

Dumping grinds into coffee makers basket was a breeze!I would highly recommend the Braun KG7070
The aforementioned Capresso unit's container was roughly the same size as a standard gold coffee filter, so the grounds could be dumped straight into the filter
It makes it much easier to keep loose grounds from the lid from making a real mess!
The thing I hate most about grinding coffee is the messy grounds.
It is very easy to switch from coarse (french press) to fine grounds (espresso).-Attractive with good build quality everywhere except the bottom bin.-Very quiet
This Braun machine's container is just too big, which exacerbates the exploding grounds problem
Still I learned a lot about coffee making and using a Burr Grinder was a very important thing.
This thing... this thing is awful
I had read reviews that stated the same thing & thought that was a small price to pay to have a nice burr grinder, but I completely underestimated how messy it gets
If we make a mistake and order beans that look too oily, we use this thing to grind them up for use in a regular Mr. Coffee type of coffeemaker
The worst thing is the mess that this grinder makes

I used the coarsest setting for my cold brew and it turned out perfect.
When removing the lid, the fine coffee chaff will always fly off into the table or onto the floor!. Secondly, the majority of the grind settings is decent, but even on the coarse setting, there is still a good amount of ultra fine powder like grinds, for coffee purists and pour overs, this ultra fine grinds defeat the purpose of a burr mill grinder - might as well go with a blade style grinder where you will end up with some ultra fine grinds.
I also think every setting is too fine.
At the highest setting, my coffee grinds looks the same as my lowest setting - and that's a real problem when you doing a pour over, the filter constantly gets clogged because the grind is too fine
When I grind even at the more coarse setting, there are still fine particles that like to clog up the filters that I use.

I believe that’s the reason we don’t experience the static cling issue others have mentioned
By now, I'm so displeased by the static cling of the coffee, I wish I had never bought the thing
The static cling issue makes it literally impossible to remove the ground coffee from the supposedly dissipative container without making an enormous mess
