It doesn't have the timer, easy release hopper with the air tight lid, or the adjustable outer burr

Overall if you're not pinching pennies I'd spend the extra ~30 for the Pro (or Smart Grinder Pro) to get some of the extra features (mainly the adjustable burr)

I'm not sure if the adjustable outer burr from the pro version will fit in

This is a good expresso grinder AND its a good price

I'm happy with it, it grinds fine enough for my Breville infuser without the pressurized porta-filter when I bring it down to the 1-3 range on the dial, I've also used it grind for a drip coffee maker and it handled that like a champ
