The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my daughter bonked herself in the head with it a few times and it's not very soft or flexible in that way.

My almost 9 month old baby shakes the rattle all the time

It has been dropped many times, dragged across the floor, dunked in water and is still in very good shape.

Our son loved this rattle, but be accidentally conked his head with it a few times and now dislikes it
