After ordering the Globe Electric LED Floor Lamp Torchiere, Energy Star Certified, Dimmable Super Bright, 43W, 3000 Lumens, Black Satin Finish for the livingroom, and seeing it in action, I lowered the review on this to 3 stars.

It lights up areas in my office which was dimmer than other part before with my old floor lamp which was not LED.

The base is sufficiently weighted to make the lamp stable on a solid floor, but on carpet it is a bit unsteady.
