I've been looking for some type of TL gear that is not too expensive to leave outdoors, as well as having good battery life (over one month with proper settings) and be able to inter-change lenses
With its built-in LCD, easy to navigate menu, adult sized buttons, incredible battery life, changeable lenses and unique HDR recording capabilities I consider it the "best of breed" and it is now my camera of choice for any time-lapse situation
They could probably engineer it to get far better battery life if they wanted to, but it's acceptable for a cheap consumer device
However, the stitched videos come out surprising crisp - and with very good battery life
Great price on holiday sale, plus it sets up so very easily with no fuss and great results
I still find paging through the many setup options clumsy with only three buttons, but I am very happy that there are a lot of options - the company has provided a pro grade product at a good price.

Somebody could say, I can do Time Lapse videos with my powerful Iphone or Samsung, mmmh maybe not, this little machine has a good HDR, good angle (it means it covers more area than your smartphone) and the low-light scenes are very well managed by this camera
I would like a smaller angle of view for my outdoor recordings, but a different lens will not fit into the weatherproof case (as far as I can find, there's no weatherproof case to fit with a different lens).

What I really liked about the PRO200 is the ability to get a WiFi connection and upload automatically to my computer, also the ability to video on a set schedule,those two things make this camera a winner if you need to focus on specific images, like myself
The other awesome thing is unlike a GoPro or other non-purpose-built units, the time lapse in this unit is automatic.
I really wanted to like this thing, but the quality is so poor that I'm switching back to my GoPro solution and manually building time lapse videos from still images.

good time lap camera the only problem in this cam you can not see what you record or delete unwanted video
Hello all, after reading the few available reviews and a few youtube videos I ordered the camera (PRO HDR) as soon as it was available
it may well take nice videos, but without proper date/time coding, they would be useless to me.
In the meantime I was able to get the unit to work - it does take good photos, at 720p resolution, and it does convert them into very workable video files.
I'd gladly pay more for a higher quality sensor (at least 5MP - this one is like 1.3MP) and a crisper lens
My wish list would also include blue tooth or WiFi to connect and run an app... that coupled with a better sensor and lens and this would be a real gem...
I bought an Eye-Fi x2 16gb which work great together.- Cheaper lens
However their longer lens is not easy to install or focus for that fact
Also, the wider angle view with the default included lens is another welcome improvement
The camera is wonderful for capturing events with outstanding quality even in low light conditions.
Images are nice quality but can be blurry at a slow shutter speed.

the 4AA batteries in the camera last an extremely long time as there is no power hogging unnecessary features just a clear (if a little small) screen and easy to follow options and lots of auto settings for "set and forget" action
