I love the 2 sided scanning and being able to print on 11x17 paper!

The MFC-6430 was discarded due to plugged printer head (as was the subsequent Epson WF-7620), not because of failing drives/ gears (which I suspect is already happening after some hours of scan operation).With dual scanner heads, two-sided scanning is a breeze!

The red definitely is not as vibrant as the original copy

You can make it vibrant but the trade off is that you will go through lots of ink and still not be quite as robust in color as the original copy

and I found the ink to make excellent black and white copies which were sometimes even better than the originals

In the photo, the left is the original and the right is the copy (I have put black lines through any brand names on the original and copy)

I still call these printers, but today, they are obviously ALL in ONE office machines.... seems with email attachments, things like fax feature are becoming obsolete.

there is many issues that involve printing accurate colors, profiling, matching of inks and papers, and having a calibrated monitor

It has more features than I mentioned because some of them I will not use but if you have intense or unique printing requirements this I think would be a good solution for initial cost and overall costs to maintain
