The printing is clean and crisp and as others have pointed out, being thermal there is no ink or toner to deal with

It is certainly a reasonable system to use, the labels don't jam in the printer too often, the printing is clean, and it beats having to run a sheet of Avery labels through a copy machine in most cases.
