The touch screen makes dealing with its functions and setup pretty easy as well
Compact (fit easily on a 12" bookshelf near ethernet and power), easy setup (10 minutes from box to function) and no trouble adding itself to my home network (ethernet now, haven't bothered with WiFi yet).Pro:1
Once I did that, finishing the setup was easy, and was able to scan away
Setup is easy and offers wireless or wired (Ethernet or USB) connections
It is incredibly quick and if you are scanning an odd-sized document it only includes the document area and no weird black or white edges to waste space on your harddrive or make your document look weird
"* Choose the right document size, scan type (color or B&W), 2-sided on or off, etc
I couldn’t do things like swap front and back images of a business card when I accidently fed it in reversed.
Do read about this item more than what meets the eye in the first few lines of selected few that always seems to say the right thing or wonderful things about items.
Also, there is no editing once it's scanned, meaning no ability to easily adjust crooked images and things like that.6
When I first got it, I thought it was the greatest thing ever
This is obviously the least important thing: how it looks on my desk
Fujitsu’s great shortcoming is the buggy software (which they wrote themselves) and the non-existent technical support.
Decided to replace with a Fujitsu ix1500, easy to setup and use, with excellent software from a company that clearly is serious about the home document scanner business, which I
Scanning via USB is fine, but the software to configure the printer via USB often sits and hangs, requiring a Force Quit.
Brother you have a good scanner with LOUSY software!!!!!!I have now requested a return via Amazon.
They never did acknowledge that the serial number was invalid or that the updates did not work even though I sent them a snipits of the error messages.
The number of positive reviews that this piece of junk has earned leave me thoroughly mystified and doubting the integrity of those who write reviews
