Overall, this radio is probably your best option out of all of the currently available DMR options.
I am changing my rating to 5 stars, as even though the radio isn't perfect, it is still the best option available at this time.

Not much of a learning curve unless you are new to programming an HT.While I have successfully used the radio with various local (analog) repeaters, my rating is mostly based on the responsiveness of the BTech customer service and support.

The radio isn't Chirp compatible, as others have mentioned, but the BTech CPS isn't too bad.
Good luck not in the box and the site it sort of directs you to mentions that Chirp is not compatible and if you spend hours on forums you'll finally figure out the programming software is imbedded in the firmware update zip file,perfect!

Easy to program, nice volumn, great display and scan features.
This is nothing but a re-branded AnyTone 868 with the nice features of the 868 removed and some ill-conceived BTech features added.

An external speaker works fine if I plug in a shoulder mike.
Unfortunately after a week or so the internal speaker quit working on mine while listening to repeater traffic
But to spend $190.00 on a radio that doesn't work as I expected didn't make sense to me.

The programming software works although the user interface is cumbersome, but no more so than CHIRP's--just different quirks.
