Be aware that, if the computer you wish to use for programming has an ARM64 Processor, you will not be able use this or any other cable I have found as there are no ARM64 compatible drivers for the USB to Serial chipsets.

If you are buying BaoFeng, Tenway, Mirkit or any UV5R clone this cable is a must have, unless you like manually installing drivers on your computer.
