    • And yes, follow the set up instructions to the letter, else you'll burn out the heating element before you brew your first pot
    • After two pots of coffee were brewed, the heating element began "burning off" something.
    • But now, just 25 months later, the heating element is dead, and that's the end of that

    • It's a good coffee maker but the heating elements are not as durable as the older ones made in the USA.

    • We've had the Bunn BT Velocity Brew for a few years now, have had to contact Bunn when the heating element seemed to fail, but their support is excellent, all you do is provide them with the date code on the label on the bottom of the unit and they ship out a replacement, just asking that you return the defective unit.
    • Wish it were a 12 cup, but as fast as it makes a pot, no problem.
    • Fast delivery, works as it should.
    • I was filling the reservoir the night before and shutting the lid at brew time, but found it not as hot as if it's filled with fresh water when you're ready for a pot
    • It's leaking out the top and doesn't keep the water as hot as it should anymore.

    • I've never been able to make coffee as good as with the Bunn with any other coffee maker.
    • I do however recommend purchasing the plastic pitcher as it is easier when filling the machine.
