The machine loses a star for it's less than attractive looks and a thermal carafe that pours poorly.

It is an excellent machine: fast, easy to run and clean, carafe keeps the coffee hot for at least two hours...and the coffee tastes great

Like many other Bunn-atics out there, we tried several different brands of maker before finally giving in and spending 'big bucks' on a proper coffee machine

I mean besides the true-to-its name "velocity" ability to make pot after pot of coffee 24/7 fairly rapidly, the actual serving temps are not up-2 "gourmet" standards above 200 degrees,... not without pre-heating the carafe with 125+ degree water 1st and I consider that a huge waste of water/energy on top of the fact this machine has no programmability and ultimately is left on considering its hidden & awkward power switch location rendering it the most wasteful of energy out of ALL the coffee machines I've ever

I have actually slightly reduced the amount of grounds I use, because this machine gets all the good out of what I put in and doesn't let anything go to waste

This machine is also extremely fast

After the "vacation switch" was off for two weeks while I was gone, the machine heated for about 10 minutes and then died.

It is an amazingly efficient and handy machine.

This machine is very fast, so there isn't much waiting.

So if you like weak coffee it's great machine, or if you like very strong sludgy grounds on your counter top also the coffee maker for you

For years she has had numerous machines but all fail within several months and / or are complicated and touchy to operate.

We've tried various other manufacturers in varying price ranges and this is hands down the best machine!

It will still be good coffee but it won't be what this machine is capable of producing

Wish it were a 12 cup, but as fast as it makes a pot, no problem.

Fast delivery, works as it should.

I was filling the reservoir the night before and shutting the lid at brew time, but found it not as hot as if it's filled with fresh water when you're ready for a pot

It's leaking out the top and doesn't keep the water as hot as it should anymore.

My husband actually burnt himself as it poured all over him.

I've never been able to make coffee as good as with the Bunn with any other coffee maker.

I do however recommend purchasing the plastic pitcher as it is easier when filling the machine.

It comes out very hot, but not as hot as when you use a percolator

Doesn't keep coffee quite as hot as I like it.

After researching what could cause this I determined, I either like my coffee stronger than most or I grind the beans to fine.
