and I dont have that plastic odor I have gotten with other coffee pots like Mr. Coffee.

When I first opened it, there was a distinct plastic odor that went away after a week or so

I was filling the reservoir the night before and shutting the lid at brew time, but found it not as hot as if it's filled with fresh water when you're ready for a pot

It's leaking out the top and doesn't keep the water as hot as it should anymore.

I've never been able to make coffee as good as with the Bunn with any other coffee maker.

I do however recommend purchasing the plastic pitcher as it is easier when filling the machine.

It comes out very hot, but not as hot as when you use a percolator
