It is an awesome machine but the second time we used it the casing lid where the electronic stuff is stored broke off.

Terrible product - does not cook waffles through and hard to tell when waffles are done - there is no indicator that tells you when waffles are done.

Screws kept falling out, they are too small to hold the top plate on.

This caused a super heated piece of metal to fall on my finger as the top plate dislodged from the appliance lid

The screws responsible for securing the top plate were far too short to hold it in place

Today January 21st, I picked it up to replace the foil I put under to keep drippings off the counter and the back plate covering the wires fell off

Love it but do wish the plate was removable to clean and the top plate too and wish the cord was a bit longer and maybe retractable.

Something they can eat with their hands if they wanted (because my kids are weird and don’t like syrup, and frequently eat their Eggos with their hands no matter what I say)

Unless you have tiny hands it is a major undertaking to clean this thing

This thing doesn't work at all for thicker batters, because it takes even longer for the surface heat to reach the dense centers, and thick batter spreads out through the grids too slowly for even cooking just on the outside of the waffles alone

Otherwise, the entire thing will be soft...but some ppl may like that
