I disassembled the burr and put it back and everything worked fine again

Great burr grinder that produces grounds from super fine to coarse.

My case wasn't good enough for my application, unfortunately, I've returned this grinder and bought a $200 burr grinder which worked very well for my espresso machine with a non-pressurized portafilter.

This grinder has conical steel burrs, and they work as well as the ceramic disc burrs in my small machine

For the hardware, it has a very high-end stainless steel conical burr, this is the best for a coffee grinder

To get the best results I use this stainless steel conical burr grinder set to the fineness of grind that works best for me, depending on bean variety and roast

This coffee grinder is made from quality parts (including stainless steel) which means it will be durable, easy to clean, and will provide you with many years of use

I really love it and the sound level is reasonable for the end result

Last one, Ariete, failed after 1 year and upon inspection it looked like it was designed to fail

We really love its design of where they put the coffee beans

All of them have the exact same texture, a medium-fine grind--which happens to be how I like my drip coffee

While it has a couple of extras, like a measuring scoop (in the lid) the grind is neither as fgine nor as consistent.

You can set the grind from very fine to coarse and select how long you want it to grind from a range of settings.

It has a good sized hopper, and onboard storage of cleaning and measuring tools right inside the lid

Yet the flavor enhancement from freshly ground coffee is incomparable by any packed ground coffee

With that grinder I always have the new fresh coffee everyday.

My experience with this shows it will need a bit of tapping for very oily dark roasted beans to drop through for grinding

So I buy my favorite roasted beans and use this grinder, it has so many different grind settings

My wife and I drink an absurd amount of coffee… iced coffee, hot coffee, espresso, cold brew, lattes, you name it and we probably drink it
