Has allowed for both bridged packet capture from my laptop, as well as allowing me to use a spare RPi2 as a wired router.
Good quality hardware, easy installation, an awesome tool for working with computers in need of an Ethernet port that have an available USB - preferably a USB 3.0 port
I did not test OS X, as I didn't really want to pollute my driver space on my Mac with unknown quality code
Now, the build quality is not fantastic, but given that I got it for $20, I'm more than happy with this minor trade-off
USB 3.0 is quite a bit faster and seems to transfer the internet connection via ethernet as fast as when it was plugged right into my old computer that had an ethernet port.

Stuff like this should ship with a tiny, cheap flash drive with drivers vs a mini-disc
Then I decided to back up my NAS to an external hard drive I keep
when the capsule started acting up i thought it best to pull them off and put them on an external hard drive, the wait time for files was insane
This leave you with an addition 3 unused 3.0 ports for connecting a hard drive or DVD or your Windows Phone or any other USB 3.0 device you might want to use
Copied drivers to Hard drive of Surface Pro 2, ran setup which installed Windows 8 drivers, followed instructions, connected device then connected Ethernet cable, flawless/perfect in less than 5 minutes.

As others have noted, does not work with the Nintendo Switch, but my own fault for not going for an official device
