This is a nice size tea kettle; I like it because I can easily see the water level and its easy to keep clean.

I'm not getting any chemicals or metals in my water, I love being able to see the water boil and the cleanliness of the inside of the tea kettle, and it is a great size for an average stove top

The size is great and the glass appears to be okay on my electric range with the wire piece that it comes with, however, it took a very long time to heat my water appropriately for my coffee

Also the handle gets hot and you need to have an oven mitt on to hold it.

Even when the water is boiling hot the handle is not too hot to pick the kettle up without a pot holder.

Top needs to be removed (very difficult - worse when Hot) and Hot Handle!

Of course, glass can break easily and requires tender loving care

So you boil the water, and then you have to take off this tightly-packed plastic lid.

However, this glass kettle takes a LOT more time to boil water

We were surprised that the lid and handle get as hot as they do.

Good kettle that burns your fingers sometimes when you try to remove the whistle because the whistle handle is too short.

The lever/handle thingy that lets you remove the whistling part is a little bit short, which means that I burn my fingers on steam when I try to remove it

And if you are in a place where a Brita pitcher is not enough to offset tap water taste and you rely on store bought bottled water, using 24 ounces of water to boil just 8 ounces on a regular basis will require you to lug more bottles from the store than you would otherwise have to

Also, the 24 ounce minimum boil amount is problematic if you are using a recipe that calls for 8 ounces of boiling water.
