This is a completely unusable product because of poor product design

To start with - I am so surprised that Amazon recommended this as an Amazon choice product

I Love this product

Unless you are willing to to instruct every house-mate and guest on the maximum heat setting for your kettle, you may be better served by a more durable product.

Other than the whistle not being very loud (yes I have the lid on secure), I really like this product.

Nice product , reason I purchased was because I wanted a non-metal kettle for health reasons however the handle is defective, upon lifting the pot with about 24 oz of hot water inside , it gave in as I lifted and my knuckles pressed against hot surface of the glass

I like the product and glad that I pick it.

Valuable product to replace more toxic metal tea kettle.

This is a great product.

So I don't want to suggest that it is somehow a bad product.

One big annoyance though, Amazon has upped the price of this over 50% from the last time and its not anything new or different but thats not a product issue its an Amazon issue
