After 20 minutes, there is definitely a cool spot in the middle of the two burners , but that’s common sense and to be expected.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is the defuser plates don't do much, you clearly get very hot spots right under the burners while the edges aren't even hot enough to cook on.
