At the time the device was very innovative and the market didn't have much to offer.

Purchased 2 Canary's in July, worked well until Oct when they made all of their changes, now these devices are useless

The devices are now useless and I will not pay them a monthly fee to get back the functionality they advertised on and have available at time of purchase.

They don't listen to customers and refused to replace defective device which I think that is the cause of the issue.

Recently Canary has started to remove existing features for existing non-subscribers, effectively rendering the device much less capable than originally advertised and forcing a membership in order to access functionality that was once included at the time of hardware purchase

Only available through Chat, which can drop at any moment and you lose connection; IMS if it is not “temporarily disabled” due to a high volume of contacts; or e-mail which can take several days to respond and if the instructions given do not solve your issue you have to continue to send e-mails, meanwhile your device is not working

I will say that they device was great when its features were functional - but now that my original plan is gone, its worthless.
