The app is full of bugs and does not work often times, wont switch modes, notifications come DELAYED, there customer service is good, but the actual product quality just DOES NOT WORK and this is one of those items whose quality needs to work, for security purposes over its customer service.

I have not charged this device since i fully charged it over a week ago, and with it sensing motion at least 4-5 times a day, it has only dropped down to 75%.The quality of the video is amazing, can make out faces a good distance away, and picks up sound really well, although i haven't tested how well it works in the dark

The WIFI aspect of the unit does not work, and after several hours on WIFI the unit goes offline...therefore I have to keep it plugged into Ethernet, so I am limited as to where I can place the device

The app works as it should with about a 5-second delay, granted the internet can be spotty at my work (which is weird because it's a tech incubator)

My review will reflect countless other reviews, the Canary corporation performed a bait and switch, initially promising great home security, now charging the price of the device per year for what was included as a basic free for life feature.

but it's still not recording my motion as well as before

Dishonest company; Buyer beware as they may be going under very soon
