Probably the single greatest thing about this printer is the compact size.

This can print very nice color photos onto photo paper and has a tray for regular paper as well if you want to print a text document with colored text for example

Sort of like the color of old computer monitors from decades past

4 sheets of photo paper that come with the printer absorb the ink immediately, there's virtually no time required for the paper to dry, and colors look very accurate

The color is terrific and have not had to change cartridges yet.

We purchased the MX922 after this piece of crap, which instantly connected to all of our computers and also had easy scanning setup.

First issue, could not set up the printer without phone support, it came on a Saturday and of course Canon has no weekend phone support, very frustrating

This Canon printer has a number of other frustrating design issues, like having to lift the front "door" up every time to print, the fact that it goes into a deep sleep mode after a while and has to be manually restarted before sending a print job to it (making it worthless as a network printer), and just the flimsiness of the construction make it seem mediocre to me

Personally, I would treat this TS6020 (as well as TS5020) as a perfect companion to an inexpensive B&W laser printer

The other is with the bottom paper tray which is a bit touchy and if not perfect will lead to paper jams.

The paper tray is also a bit difficult to figure out initially.

Sometimes it would print a bit funny, or stop part-way through printing.

That funky lower loading tray is a wildly poor design and connecting wirelessly was a nightmare

Also, I got ink all over my hands because of the poor design of Canon's cartridges.

There is a front flap that has the control buttons and it must be raised in order to print, not the best design-

Some of the jamming happens during duplex printing, so I know the cartridge isn't fully at fault; still, it doesn't strike me as a good design

I made a mistake of loading the paper the wrong way (twice mind you), which caused the ink to bubble
