You can always increase your ISO to get those faster speeds, but that leads to a grainy image that lacks detail.

Without the macro magnification, not only it limits how close you can get, and how magnified the final images is, but most important, because of the lack of magnification it doesn't produce any bokeh

The images I get are sharp, and the 24mm gives me a nice wider angle

Unless you need to stop motion in low light, the 18-55mm is probably still going to work just fine and produce good images.

The images are satisfactory and the 2.8 means I can shoot in low light.

Unfortunately I did not have a sturdy tripod when taking these photos so the images are not very sharp but overall I am thrilled with this lens

but it produces a sharp clear image, with an impressive aperture for Canon's S series of lenses

Taking a picture of a whole group of people in a room while attempting to capture a good image of the room itself is one area where this 24 mm lens comes in useful

The build quality is cheap, not going to lie, but the image this thing captures is top notch

The only thing I don't like about this lens is occasionally it will warp the image for certain types of shots this is expected seeing how its a 24 mm lens and is fairly wide angle but its only slight and is barely noticeable

The photos are all very blurry even in auto non-flash and the edges aren't crisp.. really disappointed as I really really wanted to like product and after testing two they didn't meet expectation.
