This has quickly become one of my favorite lenses to shoot video with on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount
-
Words can't describe how much I love this lense
-
Awesome lense!
-
Love canon prime lenses
-
I typically abuse my lenses, so the size is a definite plus. fairly quick autofocus but not silent
-
a great cheap lense, 35mm equivalent which is useful for most general purpose shooting.
-
What can I say - one of the best Canon EFS lenses
-
Hands down, awesome lense on my canon 7d.
-
It's a great all purpose lens to keep on my camera body so that I don't risk damaging my larger more expensive lenses.
-
It has replaced 2 of my lenses now and it holds a special place in my heart as one of the best lenses in my bag
-
Good lense if u r travelling
-
Nice and fast lense in close shots i do swap it with my 50mm whenever im on a trip or home
-
This has been a great lense for my
-
I already had some great lenses, like the 70-200mm F2.8, the 60mm F2.8 macro, and the 10-18mm IS STM, all of which serve specific purposes, yet can overlap into other types of photography.
-
This lens has good sharpness, though not as sharp as the higher level lenses like the 17-55mm F2.8 or even the comparably priced 50mm F1.8.
-
Love this little lense ...worth every penny get this one and the 50mm 1,8 and you will be very pleased.
-
All other lenses I have (18-55mm kit and 1.8 50mm) work just fine still.
-
One of the best Canon lenses for the price
-
I've only used this lense a little bit but I love it
-
Really nice lense, and for the price excellent
-
very nice, loving these pancake series lenses for their low profile and low weight yet nice sharpness for a very reasonable price.

Love this lense
-
Great Lense for beginners like me
-
It's one of my sharpest lenses in my kit, and I own a VERY expensive 70-200mm f/2.8
-
I love prime lenses and will end up purchasing Canon’s L-series fixed lens offerings eventually, but will always have a use for this lens as long as I own an APS-C camera body
-
Great lenses
-
One of the best lenses I've purchased
-
For the money this is a great lense
-
Incredible lense
-
New favorite lense!!
-
I need fast lenses
-
I had high hopes for this lens because I have the 40mm pancake and it is one of my favorite lenses
-
Lastly, I will talk about shooting sports indoors with the 24mm, since I see that question asked a lot about this lens, and offer suggestions for how to use it for this, as well as suggest other lenses that will probably work better.
-
The more light that can come in the faster the speed can be (it’s why they call them “fast” lenses).
-
After having this lens for a few years now, I can honestly say it is one of my favorite lenses to use for landscape and for getting wide angle film clips
-
It wasn’t as good for portraits as my other lenses, but I realized how good it would be as a product lens, and can also be used to take group shots when I don’t want to lug around a much bigger lens.
-
5 stars for this inexpensive but fantastic lense.
-
This has become one of my favorite lenses and I am excited to try it on my new Sony mirrorless camera when it arrives.
-
One of my new favorite lenses
-
I expected the STM lens to be as quiet as other STM lenses normally are
-
A perfect lense for traveling
-
It performs great a s a walk around lens as well, though you dont have a zoom range like on a traditional walk around lens it gives great wide angle shots as well as close ups second to none
