They are MUCH better of course, and the paper weight is much thicker, but for proofing colors, this High-resolution is perfect, and nicely brings out the colors.
The other side is off white but the resolution is still very good on the "bad" side.
I haven't found any other paper that comes even close to producing really good resolution in pictures on regular weight paper.

Images printed on this paper by my Canon MX870 printer using high resolution settings are as good as on glossy photo paper
pretty good coated paper, I use for Xmas letter with pictures and text- although I think the Epson version of this type of paper is slightly superior.- produced a little better pictures on my printer
