This printer does a nice job, but I think the driver or associated software does not sync well with other software at times.

It works great for the price and does everything its supposed to do - I've used it to print from and scan to my computer via WiFi as well as copy.

This Canon PIXMA seemed to be a good replacement option, and our luck with Canon products has always been good

Update: I have configured it better and wireless option now works well with the computer and printer gets on the wireless router automatically when turned on and is recognized by the computer quickly

Overall, considering its very small footprint, easy setup and maintenance, relatively inexpensive cost of cartridges and photo paper, plus the additional functions such as copying and scanning, this may be a very good option for a moderately to low in-home use

When I did get an improper sized print out of the machine it was way off color no matter what application I printed from and I finally gave up

I love the compact size which enables me to have it on my desk beside my computer instead of on a stand by itself.

This newer Pixma printer makes nice borderless photos, but it's not the best Canon photo printer out there.

Look at the printers that have more ink cartridges, if you really want a great photo printer, as opposed to a versatile office type printer

I have this as a second printer, and its compact and small design works great.

It sells itself on its compact design, but in order to print anything it needs to be expanded to a size larger than a normal printer

The setup was not too difficult, and it took me about a half hour to set up 3 computers and my smartphone for wireless cloud access, direct access and test prints

For the newer compact look of the printer, you do have to work for it in opening every hatch or flap when needing to use

Second, despite functioning as a copier, scanner and printer (memory card or templates), it sports a lean look with an uncomplicated and attractive keypad control panel

Personally, I would treat this TS5020 as a trusty companion to an inexpensive B&W laser printer

However, it is a bit noisey and slightly shakes while printing so one should use it on a heavy surface.

Though the process was a bit tedious, it was a situation where a document feeder couldn't have helped to speed up the process, and the photo quality came out beautiful.
