But then I go to do the official test against my old cameras and, wow, this camera takes terrible photos
So, my recommendation is that if you want a great camera and can live with the above difficulties then go for it.

But the 4k image quality is several steps behind my Sony HX80 which costs a little less is smaller in size and offers almost as good image stabilization and audio
The audio for the video is good but again the video is not as crisp as I feel it should be
The audio is great for an on board microphone

The zoom unfortunately is no where as good as this Canon

It still struggles a bit in low light indoors etc but the amazing zoom the image stabilization and onboard microphone win me over every time
The image stabilization is getting closer to almost gimbal like but not quite there yet

The auto focus is good, but I find a bit better clarity with center focus
