    • obviously I get all of my auto news online, but I read C&D for the in-depth articles, comparison reviews and the great writing you look for in magazines vs the too-conversational-snark of bloggers
    • The magazine has well written articles that give depth to the quality images
    • It's reasonably well written and, generally speaking

    • Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Convertible, 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, plus a comprehensive write-up on The Best Cars for $20,000.
    • The writing is mediocre and the coverage is biased --- of the last 5 issues 4 have been about the Corvette.
    • Its well written, funny, absurd, insightful and glorious in its coverage of everything with wheels

    • Like most car magazines, "Car & Driver" is full of glossy, colorful, pictures and serious well written articles, car comparisons, and long-term road tests, but the magazine offers so much more.
    • The cars are uninteresting, the writing is unreadable, the humor is unfunny, and the editorials are irrelevant.
    • The articles are well written and even now there is still a little of the off beat, politically noncorrect humor present in the writing that was a hallmark of this magazine a couple of decades ago.
