For those two reasons you lose two stars.

Only reason I knocked a star off was that it did come unstuck from my dash once, but moving to a different spot helped

I was however initially confused as to how the tri-pod stand worked but after playing with it for a little bit and looking at photos on line I was able to figure it out

I bought this Car Phone Mount, Vansky 3-in-1 Universal Phone Holder Cell Phone Car Air Vent Holder Dashboard Mount Windshield Mount hoping to use it with my iPad as well as with my iPhone 8plus, it will not work!!
