I had the flimsy wood gates that would not stay put....these are great...

The gates don't look bad when installed - definitely nicer than the cheap balsa wood and plastic mesh baby gates or the bulky plastic gates secured with the push down tension bar.

That's all I'm gonna say about that hahaIf you rent, don't screw the caps into the door frame, you could split the wood

There are “cups” to install into the door frame that’d be very helpful for keeping the gate secure
