Was skeptical about it when I opened it because of the small hard shell, had it for a couple weeks now

I thought the entire case was hard shell from the outside and soft from the inside and had the dual layer protection that way, but it actually was soft and the only hard part is the golden part around the edges

Look for something that has a harder and smoother shell

The case has a rubber inner case that is blue and an outer protective hard plastic that has a gold appearance

cheaply made, the outer gold frame is cheap plastic and can break easily.

Another nice feature of this case is that the blue softer plastic on the back of the phone has a grippy feel to it, so that your phone will not slide easily out of your hand or off a slick surface
