I was looking for an inexpensive student violin for my daughter to start learning on, but this isn't just a cheap practice instrument: I can easily imagine using it for performances
I didn't care for the cheap headphones that came with it, but the instrument itself is wonderful.
Not sure what brand of strings it comes with but the G&D are decent; A&E are pretty rough
I hope Cecilio will replace the instrument or refund me

The sound is better than my acoustic which cost twice as much
Having said that, even I can get a pretty nice sound out of it with the included low quality strings
It feels sturdy, and the sound is clear when I plug in my headphones and even better when I plug in my little portable speaker
However, much to my disappointment, the range of tone you get is very limited, and in my opinion, only about the lower half of the range is "good" sound
I've only been playing with it for a little over a month now, but the sound seems pretty solid

The pros: The kit has pretty much everything you need, except a shoulder rest, and it plays like a violin is supposed toThe cons:Build quality is cheap: I mean you can tell after taking a closer look at it
i have a nice real violin so the quality of this was like revisiting middle school rental violin
Put some nice strings on it and the sound quality isn't too bad
The case is of better quality than what I expected, and will do nicely for upcoming air travel.
It's made of good quality wood and it feels very sturdy in your hands

Completely useless bow and string and all other accessories part, but fair
My only complaint about this set would be the bow, it is poor quality
The case and bow broke almost immediately and the rosin and headphones are not much better
The bow isn’t great but functional and it did come with a couple of broken hairs but nothing major.
Yes, the headphones are junk - use your own good ones, the bow is cheap (but usable), everything about the instrument and the case feels factory-cranked-out shoddy

Its a very beautiful violin however receiving mine the pegs were really loose

Some issues I had were the pegs coming loose and the finish of the violin
