I am taking off one star because of the odd bow curve.

I'm not using it, as I have two other really good and expensive bows

I bought some Fiddlerman strings and put those on it, the bow I have also seems like the arc on it is off and it bounces so I'll eventually need to replace that.

I prefer a heavier bow.

My real gripe is the bow

If you want to buy a good bow to use with this violin, you have to try one in person at a music store to find the right one for you

With this violin I also purchased a better shoulder rest, a better bow and rosin, a good set of strings, and had the bridge and nut repaired.

I have another very expensive bow (I bought this violin to take to work to practice on breaks) and the violin sang well

The third problem was the bow because it was flimsy

The sound quality is pretty good in general, the bow is decent for the pricing as well

It comes with a nice bow, good rosin, a cleaning cloth, and functional electric controls

You may luck out with this package and get a decent bow
