It arrived in good condition but had to be set up by the local music store ($65...)
The cello arrived on time in perfect condition.
Delivery was timely, and the instrument was in beautiful condition.

With the exception of the worthless rosin, this cello has exceeded all our expectations.
That being said, they are very cheaply made, so don't hold any great expectations for them.

Please remember this is a student cello perfect for your child to carry to school and participate in the orchestra.
Beautiful Student cello - 1/4 size used by my son in 3rd grade and begining of 4th grade.
She says the sound from this cello is as good as any other student cello.

The fine tuners didn't work, the bridge was too high, and something was wrong with the fingerboard

I opened the box to find a beautifully crafted instrument, the finish was almost perfect
base toners are great, high notes resonate well, finish is pretty awesome

A poor quality instrument will simply not sound good - even in the hands of a pro, and that could torpedo a novice just beginning to play.
The music teacher insisted be send it back - the quality and sound was unacceptable to her.
The sound quality is better than his rental was, and I am saving money!!
the quality is excellent for the price you are paying.. now, if i decide to go professional I will consider buying something more expensive but as of right now, I love my cello!!
We ended up buying a decent quality used instrument at a similar price - much better sound quality, and acceptable to the music teacher.
