I did have to remove the C and G fine-tuners, since not having them made the instrument sound full and vibrant
While tuning, I noted what others had run across with the fine-tuners.
The body of the cello is really super cheap-fakey looking pin-striping, the fine tuners might last a couple of turns- very lightweight

The good things: good finish (but darker than pictured), solid woods, well-shaped bridge (which still needed lowering and reshaping a bit), excellent pegs and
Finish is very good.

The stand works great but put padding where the cello back actually meets the stand or it WILL scuff up the cello

The included rosin isn't bad, but a good rosin will save you some time on both initial setup and on reapplication
The soft case is pretty decent quality, but if you're buying a 3/4 cello for an elementary to middle school child, do you really think anything less than a hard case is a good idea?Other things to consider: you want to get a 3" soft-bristle paint brush and some soft polishing cloths (all cotton) so you can clean the rosin off after play
Dimensionally, everything was fine and required no setup, so I added a Snark tuner, a mute, a rock stop and a carbon-fiber bow with better rosin, and it sounds great now
The included rosin isn't bad, but a good rosin will save you some time on both initial setup and on reapplication
You'll also want to get a better rosin, like Jade L'Opera

Hadn't we been lucky, we could have ended with the next guy on the assembly line, and this one could have sounded awful or broken into pieces after a couple of months
So if one wanted really good sound, string would've needed to be replaced.
within a day or two I was making that beautifully sad sound I love.
Could use better strings, but the sound of the instrument is quite good for the money.

After purchasing a new carbon fiber bow (around $80) and installing both good quality strings and a new custom fitted bridge (around $50), it started sounding really nice
The cello is poor quality, the bridge didn't even fit
but even for a beginner/student cello it is poor quality.
After strings replacement (~ $20) the quality was very good and comparable to other, higher level cellos

I so blessed to be able to experience this instrument at such an affordable price.
The price of the CCO-300 is simply hard to believe - almost too good to be true
I have gone to many music stores, and have checked displayed cellos whose prices are well over $1,000, and I can tell you that the sound of my Cecilio CCO-300 far exceeds that of the expensive cellos I have tried
Fast delivery and good price.

It was very tempting to purchase this cello outfit, as it comes with a nice shiny cello, a bow, a hard case, etc. at a low price
the hair on the bow is not adjustable we cannot play it without a proper bow
The bow came warped and it looks like a 3/4 now which it probably is, but the bow works
