It has no redeeming qualities other than it's less than $200 and looks neat sitting in a corner

I ended up getting an AWB onesky, and I'd recommend a tabletop Dobsonian mount reflector for slightly more money, there's a reason other 5" reflectors with much simpler mounts cost about $30 more, they put the money into good quality optics, this is a terrible scope on an ok mount that isn't good enough to justify the cost

Over all great quality quality, I would buy again as a gift.

I am just getting into astrology and this telescope was inexpensive, high quality, intricate piece of equipment that I will cherish.

If you are satisfied with the tube, I recommend to go for separate good quality ones

If would want a good quality beginning telescope I recommend the Meade Infinity 102.

The eye pieces are not the best quality and if you plan on seeing crisp images you will probably not ( assuming, havent taken it out yet)All in all a good buy for a child or young adult, or even if you just want to get into star gazing

I have had many EQ mount telescopes and I have never seen quality this poor from a company like Celestron

I have a 76az on an EQ mount and that mount is top quality, and the 76az is a much smaller scope, and sells for a lot less
