This things works great with my iPhone 7 plus no complaints whatsoever.

I haven't taken the sticky thing off the bottom because I don't want to take a chance on leaving a mark on my dash and because I haven't found it necessary

Also doesn't slide on dash and no issues with Florida sun which makes so many things requiring suction to not work and the sticky pads melt

As soon as it hit 85F+ temperatures outside it got lose (first problem) and, second problem: since the unit is black and I guess because of the shape this thing acts like an oven making my Samsung Galaxy S9+ overheat when using waze and charging (the main reason I boughtso this) so the phone stops charging automatically for safety

The only thing that differs from the product description is that there IS a lil bit of glare, but I would still wholeheartedly recommend this item

No complaints, The only thing is you can only use this in landscape mode only and depending on what phone you’re using, not really an issue.

I have tried other options, such as vent clips and other mounts, but this thing is great

Phone is held firm, easy to view and when not in use looks like a radar detector and matches car dash - so not some ugly thing stuck on your window.

The only odd thing about this is that some of my apps (music specifically) wont adjust to the side view... very minor issue.
