I set it up and the camera in drone connected to my phone with clear pictures

The camera takes better pictures than I thought that it would.

the camera on it is very nice it takes nice pictures and that FPV is awesome

I like the way the camera works with my cell phone ad the pictures are pretty good

This is a great beginner quad-copter, and so far after 5 flights, the unit and remote appear to work/fly perfectly.

However it doesn't have the ability to hover in the air, idk if it was my fault as a beginner but the first time I attempted to fly it in doors it went straight up in the sealing and when I released the analog it fell right to the ground

I have to say that this drone is a great beginner drone that is very durable.

this unit is great for a beginner to medium very easy to learn on just a hit if it's for the kids buy some extra

This is not five or eight hundred dollar professional drone but it is a very good,stable and durable quad copter.

For this inexpensive quad copter it worked great for my 9 year old

After contemplating options for a bit I completely dissembled the quad

If your looking for a cheap first quad then I would go with this one unless you want better picture and video quality, than go with the X5C for $30 less.

The camera is pretty bleh, so don't expect anything great, but its fun.

Recommend buying a spare parts kit with it because you'll have so much fun that you will crash it a time or 10.

Just received my drone yesterday and does it look great in the quality twice what I expected , my first flight it said the flying time was about 7 minutes but it felt a lot longer than that , and the price was unbelievable

Protective guards broke on first use, wiring came apart for camera in the same amount of time, very poor quality item!

My 10 year old very tech-savvy son bought this and has not enjoyed using it due to the difficult flying it.

Really cool drone easy to control, however, we only had it 2 days before while flying it lost contact with the remote and instead of stopping it kept flying and took off and was lost

Mine tends to loose contact with the remote when I first try to fly

However, since it won’t shut down when it loses contact with the controller, I have to give it a failing grade.

We've been using this drone for about 4 months and they work just as well as when we first got them

We have only been able to play inside with it due to the cold and snowy weather that is occurring right now

Well packaged, no damage, everything works as it should.

The slightest wind totally messes with its flight, the battery life stinks and the controls are slow.

Again, taking them off lowers the weight and improves flight time

The first 2 times was good, but the 3rd time it must have got caught in the wind and drifted south

The first one we bought broke the first time my son used it

The first time it fell about 10 feet into the grass one of the propeller guards broke

I have already crashed it more times then I would like to admit and got it caught in a tree, but it hasn't taken a bit of damage not even a scratch

Though that is about where all my good sides of this device end as the motors are really not powerful enough for the weight of the drone it is like the drone is just 1 motor size too small the video comes off a little pix-elated

Fly's like a dream, but the motors are weak they don't last long before they were out.

Somewhat underpowered motors don't allow it to go very fast, can struggle in lightest of breezes.

They sound like those grindy little "motors" in a toy car that you can push, and it will keep going under its own momentum; truly an awful sound that left me wondering if something was wrong with the motor just from a manufacturing standpoint

and when I try to adjust the height it either goes to high or the motors just shut off and it falls to the earth

The signal to the phone was pretty mediocre as well as I lost a signal once it got up in the sky and even in close range it was a little bit stuttery

We've been using this drone for about 4 months and they work just as well as when we first got them

It's a nice drone it was packaged nice the only thing I don't like about it if it gets as high as a three-storey townhouse and shortly after that it loses control the signal is lost

The signal from remote would stop as well he would push up the throttle the copter would react but when he would throttle down the copter would stay running

The signal drops for a millisecond and leads to dropped frames in the final video.

And my drone has fell atleast 50 feet from the sky and still no scratch.

But by the time he finally got it in the air, ( a total of 2 times, 10 feet each) the battery died.

Twice now when the connection was lost the drone just went full throttle and shot straight up and away

Flies good and all but looses connection when the drone is about 75 feet away

It didn't have a return to home feature nor a feature that set it down when it lost connection

Mine flew away after it lost connection never saw it again

That being said I have flown some traditional RC helicopters, and most of those were fairly high end, so my expectations for this cheap little piece of plastic were very low, but hey, a toys a toy

Eventually in handling it, a small black piece of wire fell out.

This is the most amazing piece of technology for $52

and it is something you want to get into, when you upgrade you'll be able to fly it a lot better than someone who's gone straight to an expensive piece of equipment

The camera is fixed in place (though you can aim it more down if you loosen the bracket screws, unhook the front clasp and wedge a folded piece of paper napkin between the two surfaces

Only issue is that the little screws on the prop guards and landing gear are not the greatest.

Difficult to replace guard (tiny screws very difficult to unscrew w/o stripping soft metal)- re: bad motor: I understand these things happen, but when I researched how to change motor it looked very difficult

I noticed right away the wind is a concern even if you don't feel it

The wind can play havoc with drone due to how light the drone is

Got a little to far when the wind grabbed it and it lost connection and flew right into a 100' tree and was lost

But the second one couldnt handle the wind too well and got away

The slightest wind will blow it away and it is not strong enough to fly against any breeze.
